Well I have just seen the most exciting opportunity over on Anice's blog
Funky Hand Thoughts!! Anice is looking for new members for the Get Funky DT. I have seen a few calls for their design team but I have never had the courage to apply, but I have now decided to give it a go - got to be in it to win it :) To enter Anice has asked to post photo's of cards/crafty makes that I am most proud of and that show of what I can do - so here goes:
As you can see - my style is plain and simple with not very much in the way of embellishments. I like clean lines and for the papers and stamp to be the things that stand out about my card. Also I have tried going down the lots of embellishment route and I never seem to get it right! I do like to try different techniques and mediums, but stamping whether digital or rubber is my first love and I always go back to it.
I know that this is not papercrafting but I am very proud of it :) I took up crochet just over a year ago and am hooked (pardon the pun)

ReplyDeleteAll your cards are lovely and i think simple clean designs stand out just as much as cards with lots of embellishments! I also struggle with embellishments on my cards and can never get it right lol
